Edwin Rivera's Obituary
Edwin Rivera passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at the age of 78. He was born on March 12, 1945 in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico. He was a loving husband and father of five children. He was married to his loving wife, Maria (aka Margie) Rivera for 37 years. He was a husband to one and never gave his wife a hard time for her decisions in life. He was supportive loving and understanding husband. He worked as a private chaffer for a president of a bank for 30 years, which he loved to drive.
He was a wonderful father to all five children, Emma, Marlyn, Frank, Letty and Leslie and he was happy to have 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Our dad was an amazing father that gave the best advised and was generous to us all. He enjoyed the beaches, travelling and walking around the neighborhood and meeting new people. He loved to joke around and make everyone laugh and had a great sense of humor. He also loved his salsa and old 60’s music. He was a compassionate and kind hearted spirit. He will always be loved by many and remembered for the person he was and will be truly missed.
