Edwin Brenton Keck's Obituary
Edwin Brenton Keck, 80, passed away February 15, 2018. He was born August 2, 1937 in Allentown, Pennsylvania to the late Homer and Verna Keck. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Loretta; grandson Kenneth; and granddaughter Molly.
Edwin came to Florida in 1969 from Riverdale, Maryland and was a member of Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Temple Terrace. He enjoyed woodworking and collecting stamps. Edwin worked in blueprinting in high school. He then did land surveying during his service in the US Air Force. Following that he continued to be a surveyor until his retirement in January of 2016.
Left to cherish his memory are his sons, David Keck and his wife Barbara of Allentown, PA; and Dennis Keck and his wife Laurie of Valrico, FL; daughters, Deborah Donley and her husband Ray of Zephyrhills, FL; and Donna Thompson and her husband Troy of Brooksville, FL; sister, Doris Krasley of Allentown, PA; brother, Lewis Keck and his wife Louise of Allentown, PA; grandchildren, Krystal, Seth, Ryan, Summer, Sarah, Hailey, Jessica, Brittany, Brandon, Brandi, Donnie, Brian, Tyler, Cody and Saige; and 22 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Funeral will begin at noon followed by interment with military honors in Sunset Memory Gardens.
