Edwin Austin Greene's Obituary
Edwin Austin Greene, Sr. 68, passed away June 23, 2017. He was born October 14, 1948 in Tampa, Florida to the late Harry and Mildred (Burnett) Greene. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his former wife Barbara; and his brother Ivan.
Edwin was a lifelong resident of Tampa and served in the United States Marine Corps. He loved old cars and fishing. He retired from Mosaic Phosphate after 43 years of service.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Sarah; children, Carmalita Cespedes and her husband Christian; Edwin Austin Greene, Jr; Mark Polley and his wife Debbie Barone; and Paula Poscich; sisters, Janet Keilsey and her husband Dale; and Cecilia Wolford; brother, Brian Greene; and 9 grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Funeral Service will begin at noon. Interment will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
