Edith Davis' Obituary
Mrs. Edith Jones Davis was born January 13, 1937 in Tampa Florida to Marion and Carrie Jones. She was educated in Hillsborough County Public Schools and later went on to become a Nurse at Ambrose Assisted Living Facilities, where she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Carrie Jones; husband, Willie L. Davis; Son, Frankie L. Jones; grandson, Ira Davis; and Three Great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Davis leaves fond memories to a very devoted and loving fiancé, Nathaniel Blackmon; her daughters, Barbara Rainey, Diane Dentley, and Edith Dickerson; sons, Alfonso (Blondie) Jones, Willie L. Jones, Fredd (Angela) Davis, Johnnie (Marsha) Jones, Jessie (Andrea) Jones, and Jimmy Davis; sisters, Linda, Roberta, and Pam Jones; brothers, Alexander, Walter, Marc (Janice) Jones, and Earl Jones; host of grand, great-grand, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Viewing will be from 5PM to 7 PM Friday, July 31, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home. Service will begin at 11 AM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens.
