Dorothy Elaine Harvey's Obituary
In loving memory of Dorothy Harvey
Dorothy Harvey, a remarkable soul who graced this world with her presence for nearly a century, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and adventure.
Born on a quaint farm in Pennsylvania in the 1920s, Dorothy's journey began with humble roots. Growing up alongside her cherished sisters, and brother, she learned the value of family bonds that would remain unbreakable throughout her life.
In her teenage years, fate introduced Dorothy to the love of her life, Norman Harvey. Their union blossomed into a beautiful 54-year marriage filled with shared adventures, global travels, and love. Together, they welcomed three children into the world: Lonnie, Daryl, and Cheryl.
Dorothy's love knew no bounds, and she dedicated herself to nurturing not only her immediate family but also extended that warmth to her daughters, granddaughters, and great grandchildren, notably fostering a passion for showing horses that would become a cherished family tradition.
She leaves behind a loving and grateful family: Lonnie and Debbie, Cheryl and Brandon, grandchildren Melynda, Megan, BarbiAnne, and Chris, great-grandchildren Nasasha and LilliAnne, and great-great-grandchildren Brooklynn and Roman, her sister, Clara, her niece Cindy, and great-niece, Ashley.
Dorothy's spirit will forever live on in their hearts, a testament to a life well-lived and a love that knows no end.
May her journey into eternity be as beautiful as the love she shared with all who were fortunate enough to know her.
