Doris Verell Maynard's Obituary
Doris Verell Maynard, 84, passed away April 6, 2017. She was born July 28, 1932 in Cleveland, Alabama to the late James and Alice Estelle (Vineyard) Gilliland. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Ed” Maynard.
Doris came to Tampa back in the 1940’s from Alabama. She was a member of University Baptist Church and the Bridge Club. She enjoyed reading, playing cards and Suduko.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Debbie Wilson of Illinois; Sandy Jaquish and her husband Norm Carter of Washington; and Judy Cline and her husband Les Tyler of California; son, Eddie Maynard II and his wife Cathy Gatchell of Tampa; sister, Dean Pettit of Alabama; grandchildren, Misty, Summer, Cody, Natalie, Marshal l, Sam, James, Jenna, Jordan, Shannon, Erin, Jenny, Sarah and Emily; and 19 great grandchildren.
Service and interment will be private in Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.sunset-fh.com.
