Doña Dora has always been in my heart and mind “a pesar de la distancia”. She was my neighbor and my mother’s friend and colleague in Puerto Rico. She made us “comadres”, which was an honor for me. My mother, Olga Jimenez, passed away in December 2016. I can only but imagine they are both in heaven now organizing events, supervising and looking after others. May she rest in peace. She was a beautiful soul and was always ready to lend a hand and help another - she would be so pleased to know that her outreach carries on. Thank you all so much for the prayers, comfort, hugs, and love that we have received this week. It has meant so much to the entire family.

Losing a loved one is not the end to it all as we are led to believe. For I believe that we move on past this existence, which we as human's know, is life, but there is the hope of another if you truly understand the concept of being. We walk this life in what shell we are pleased, and what we do here will prove to be what we do next in life. Flesh withers and passes away. A soul lives on for another day, be it humankind or other, we know no other. Hope is dope, and love is understanding the difference.
