Don was my older brother and we first lived near Pittsburgh and then moved to Tampa in the mid-50s. Don was born to be a salesman and ended up being a sales executive for heavy equipment companies like Caterpillar. But as a youth, he would scavenge old bicycles and parts out of people's trash, make a complete bicycle and sell it! Later on when he got his first car, we did a huge paper route area. Don drove and I rolled, rubber banded and threw the papers from the back seat. Don also handled the subscription collections. It was a great time together and we always stopped for a treat at the Colonnade. Then we went different directions in life as I was career Navy and living away from the Southeast. Mike Hanst
