I have known Don and his family for many years. We were in the same Sunday School class at Southside Baptist Church in Brandon. He was an excellent teacher and a man who really loved the Word of God. One of my favorite memories is one that happened when the Seniors at church met for a time of food and fellowship. The men graciously let the women go first in the "food line", but Don made sure that I saved him some of the 7 layer salad that I made. He will be greatly missed, but his memory will always be treasured!
