I met Doel and his neighbors after Hurricane Helene, during one of the hardest times of their lives. The storm had flooded their community, leaving many families devastated. Before I even met him, I’d already heard stories about someone who had been out in the middle of the night, rescuing neighbors trapped in their homes as floodwaters rose 5-10 feet. That person was Doel, a brave man who feared nothing but God.
Doel was a servant-hearted, selfless person who always looked for ways to help others in need. It’s heartbreaking that he’s no longer with us, but his courage, kindness, and faith continue to live on in everyone who was blessed to know him. May Doel rest in peace with our Father in Heaven. 🕊️❤️

I am very sorry and send condolences and prayers to Evelyn and the entire family.
Doel was extremely kind, popular and such a happy, hardworking caring man. He loved his friends and family. He alway made me feel welcome and soon, I was an extended part of his family. I will forever be grateful for his kindness, warmth, love and devotion to his family and faith. May he rest in peace and know everyone will miss him greatly.
