Dennis Ulanga's Obituary
Dennis David Ulanga, passed away July 17, 2024, at James A Haley VA Hospital in Tampa. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend and will be dearly missed. Dennis loved working on his car, his pride and joy, and did so as often as he could. He loved going to the beach, where he could listen to the waves roll in, and he could breathe in the sea salt air. Another favorite of his was watching wrestling on TV. But more than anything else in life, Dennis loved his family. He spent every available minute with them laughing and making memories.
Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Edith Esther and his father, Peter Ulanga, Sr.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elia; his son, Sebastion, Sr (Jenny); daughters, Earthia and Jaylene Blackwell; 6 grandchildren, Jennesy, Jennise, Jennisa, Sebastian, Jr, Joseph, and Jayce; and 2 great-granddaughters, Avery and Eve.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 10:15am to 11am, on Saturday, August 17, with Celebration of Life Service at 11am, at St Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9724 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647.
Dennis will be placed in Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St Petersburg, FL at 11am, with well-deserved military honors
