Dena Troyer's Obituary
Dena Troyer, 72, passed away May 15, 2016. She was born May 14, 1944 in Middlefield, Ohio to the late Reuben and Syvilla (Byler) Miller and step-father, Floyd Chupp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah Hershberger and Savanah Miller.
Dena came to Sarasota County in 1969 from Middlefield, Ohio and was a member of Faith Life Church in Lakewood Ranch. She was a Direct Distributor for Amway and enjoyed traveling, cooking but most of all, spending time with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, David Troyer and his wife Joetta; Donna Miller and her husband Royce; and Ron Bartko, all of Sarasota; siblings, Leroy Miller and his wife Saloma of Munfordville, Kentucky; David RS Miller and his wife Kate of Middlefield, Ohio; Kathrine Weaver and her husband Eli of Middlefield, Ohio; and Lena Weaver and her husband Burt of Jamestown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Brandon, Jaron, Carson, Marissa, Auburn, Hadley, Jackson and Wrenn.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Palm Grove Mennonite Church, 1087 S. Beneva Road, Sarasota. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 10:00am at Abundant Life Church, 6461 Proctor Road, Sarasota. Interment will follow in Sunnyside Mennonite Cemetery.
