The Dasnoit’s accepted me in their home when I. left my family home at 17. There was only one full bathroom upstairs for 5 kids. Me being the 6th!
When I think of David I remember him coming to the bathroom and being exasperated that I seemed to always be in there putting on makeup. This particular day I was blow drying my hair. He had been to a hair stylist instead of a barber for the first time that day.
His hair did look fantastic for a kid that day. When he watched me blow drying that 80’s big hair - he said that I WAS BLOW DRYING MY HAIR WRONG. lol. Only having seen the stylist once - he thought he was an expert.
He was a goofy kid at 13. But he was also funny and sweet.
I kept n touch with David and Melissa after much time had passed. We were all grown up.
He and Melissa were so vibrant and they were always doing something fun!
