Danny Ray King's Obituary
Danny Ray King, 67, of Tampa, Florida unexpectedly passed away in his Tampa home, Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born in Charleston, WV on February 28, 1954 to Lanny and Maxine (Haynes) King, and moved to Florida in the early 1960's. He is survived by his wife, Kelly King; 2 sons: Danny King II and Tyler King, all of Tampa, FL; 4 stepchildren: Jeremy Hassan and wife , Huayra and their two children, all of Alexandria, VA; Jamie Spadolini and husband, Joey and their three children, all of New Port Richey, FL; Jessica York and Reuben and their child, all of Temple Terrace, FL; and Jakeob McGreevy of Cedar Rapids, IA. A brother, Lanny B King Jr. and wife, Karen, of Tampa, FL; 2 sisters: Lanetta King of St. Petersburg, FL and Connie Koons and husband Garner of Treasure Island, FL. He is also survived by other beloved family members, nieces, cousins, uncles and aunts. Danny was an amazing man, husband and father. Danny was smart and funny and had a heart of gold! He loved and enjoyed the outdoors: hunting and fishing. He had the biggest heart and was able to handle the toughest of challenges and situations with compassion, care and grace. He will be so missed by all his family and loved ones. In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation at kidney.org.
