Dana Britt's Obituary
Dana E. Britt, 60, of Valrico, FL passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. He was born April 6, 1960 in Tampa, FL to Vira and Phillip. He was a graduate of East Bay Highschool, class of 1978. Dana was employed by Hillsborough County School District for over 30 years as a multi trade worker who specialized in painting. When not enjoying his careers, he could be found with his loving wife, walking a nature park and enjoying the outdoors. It was common to find him playing with one of his grandchildren or sharing his love of nature with them. Dana’s passions included photography and bird watching. His friends and family will remember him as the most respectful, honest and helpful individual that has ever been a part of their lives.
Dana is survived by his loving wife: Brenda Britt; parents: Vira and Phillip “Ron” Britt; daughter: Jennifer Britt; step children: Brendan Howard (Juliana), Justin Howard (Andrea) and Carrie (Denne); sister: Shirley Miller (Mike); brother: Tommy Britt (Ginger); stepmom: Mandy Britt; step siblings: Johnny Daniels (Allene), James Daniels (Debbie), Kenny Daniels, Jeannie Daniels-Woodham (Charlie), Susan Daniels (Lee Brandon Jr.), Brandon Britt and; seven grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by step siblings: Mary Joyce Phillips and Roy Daniels Jr. (Vickie).

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13 from 12-2 pm at Sunset Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow.
