Ms. Cynthia M. Golden’s Obituary
Ms. Cynthia M. Golden, a caring sister, aunt, and friend lived in Tampa, Florida. On July 31, 2022, she entered into glory at the age of 66.
She was born to parents John Franklin Golden and Charlotte Alberta Golden on December 24, 1955, in Washington, D.C. Before moving to Florida with her family in 1972, she spent the majority of her youth in the Washington metropolitan region. She attended Hillsborough Community College after graduating from Hillsborough High School in 1974.
She spent much of her career working for The Tampa Tribune as a data analyst for over 30 years before retiring.
She is preceded in death by her parents: John Franklin Golden & Charlotte Alberta Golden.
She is survived by her loving family to include siblings; Charles Albert Golden, Phillip Edward Golden (Linda) & Frances Dana Golden, nieces; Marsha Walders (Brian) & Christina Odom (Kristopher), grandnephews & nieces; Brian N. Walders (Rhea), Breana Walders, Bryah Walders, Kristian Odom & Kayla Odom. Extended family in the Washington metropolitan area and many others.
She was extremely intelligent and possessed a clever and thoughtful demeanor. She loved reading, listening to music, watching classic movies, television and crossword puzzles. Additionally, collecting old (vintage) movies.
A funeral service is scheduled at 10 am on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Sunset Memory Gardens located at 11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
