My sincerest condolences to Ms. Cordel's family. She was so kind to me and took me under her wing when I was a high school student. She was a trusted confidant and I will hold the memories of our trips to Panera always. Sending so much love.
Condolences to Ms. Cordel's family. I was introduced to her by Euri Barton Jones my spiritual mentor and got to spend some special time with her. Fondest memory was a day trip by bus to St. Augustine Florida. We had a blast exploring that city. I will always keep that memory close. May she rest in peace.
Cordel, my sister, my friend, my super mentor, I’m kicking myself because I had promised I would come see you in Tampa but never made it. Thank God our mutual friend Euri contacted me and I can now tell the whole world, the wonderful woman that you are. Your spirit lives in all of us. You have touched so many lives. For me, you mentored me and made me a fierce criminal defense, literally show me voir dire in a few hours on a Sunday after church. Everyone expected to lose my first trial and you believed in me more than I believed in myself to win. You told me that you would there in the courtroom. As I was making my closing argument, I saw you approving every word and I got my first not guilty. Cordel, I can write a book here. The way you unselfishly prayed for me and my daughter in time of trouble. My sister, I am not sad. I will see you at the appointed time. May your soul rest in peace and may your memory stay in power. Loving you always my friend. Now Euri and I will continue the journey till we meet again.

You are such an inspiration to my life, despite being far in distance, you were always close and present in my life. It was Cordel that gave my daughter a study Bible and was the one that God put in her path to get her to know Jesus. Praise God and may He be your comfort and peace during this time.
