Clemmie Marie Oder's Obituary
Clemmie Marie Oder, age 87, of Dover, FL passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
Clemmie loved her family especially her children. She loved Coca-Cola and chocolate milkshakes. She had a fascination for clocks and watches. Her favorite cologne was Timeless by Avon. She could cook like a champ. One thing everyone could say about her is that she was a very hard worker, dependable and punctual. Clemmie was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. One of her favorite meals was Chicken Scampi from The Olive Garden. She enjoyed reading, quilting, word find books, jigsaw puzzles and coloring flower books. She loved reading Zane Grey books. Her favorite TV shows were mainly from the 1960's - Perry Mason, Tarzan, Scooby-Doo Where Are You?, Jonny Quest, and college football. She wasn't much of a pie eater but she did enjoy cake, especially red velvet, coconut, and chocolate. Fruitcake was another favorite of hers. Clemmie had an iron will and a fighting spirit. Her kind are rare and there's not very many left in the world.
She leaves to cherish her memory two children. A son, Homer Wayne Register and a daughter, Joyce Marie Register both of Dover, FL. Additional survivors include a sister Clara Blanchard of Headland, AL as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clemmie was preceeded in death by her parents N. O. Oder and Nadine Hobbs Oder, five sisters, two brothers and a nephew.
She will be missed.
