Cindy Bliss was one of those rare people I have met in my life that I felt like I knew forever. There was never any moments when I didn't feel like that we knew each other forever. Our friendship was short in time but I think our hearts were always tied. I learned how strong someone can be and thought to myself that I have had many hard times in my life but never this hard. She fought to the very end. She did not want to leave her family. I would see her in the stands, and I would ask her what she was doing out there knowing she was so sick. Her response "I just want to spend time with my family". It worried her that her Mama was going to be sad when she was gone. I promise Cindy I will always give Mama a hug from you every time I see her. I'm going to miss seeing your smiling face. I love you Cindy and thank you for being my friend. I certainly know that heaven got an angel. I'm sure the gates swung wide for you my friend. You're in peace now and for that I rejoice! I was sad when you were going through this, but my heart is full of joy for you to be pain free. We will meet again and I know you'll be waiting for me.
