Charlie Charles E. Korff's Obituary
Charlie Charles E. Korff, 72, passed away November 24, 2015. He was born March 24, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edgar and Geradine (Funston) Korff.
Charlie came to Hillsborough County in 1988 from Virginia. He was a graduate of the University of Detroit and enjoyed exercise and riding his Harley.
Charlie had a distinguished career in law enforcement. He was a special agent for the United States Secret Service from 1968 to 1995. He was then an Investigator for the Florida State Attorney’s Office until 2002. Later he did part time investigative work for the US Secret Service until his retirement in 2013.
Charlie’s passion was his motorcycle. He loved riding with his many friends in the Defenders Motorcycle Club, the Brandon Harley Owners Group, the Shiawassee Harley Owners Group and the Odessa AMVETS Post 9.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Dan Korff of Chicago, Illinois; brother, John Korff of Flushing, Michigan; sister, Mary Villaire of Hobart, Indiana; nieces, Jacqueline Desposato and Christine Villaire; nephews, Frank and Steven Villaire.
There will be a memorial mass on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9715 N 56th St, Tampa, Florida 33617. Interment will be in Fort Pierce, Florida with his parents.
