Charles Glenn Summers' Obituary
Charles Glenn Summers, 80, of Thonotosassa, Florida, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2019. Born May 14, 1939 in Thonotosassa, Florida, he was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Phillips) Summers.
He was a very proud member of the Masons for 50 years and a member of the Union Plumber Pipe Fitter Local 123. Charles served proudly in the U.S. Navy Armed Forces.
Survivors include his loving children, Michael L. Summers, Christopher A. (Patti) Summers, Timothy W. (Elizabeth) Summers, Glynis K. (Jake) Dekel, Theresa L. (James) Main; his siblings, Kenneth W. Summers, Phillip Summers, Peggy Stanley; as well as his grandchildren, Ryan, Alexander, Kimberly and Tiffany. Charles was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Mable Kay Summers; and his siblings, Burke Summers and Martha Mansrin.
Memorial Service will be held at Hillsborough United Methodist Church,9008 Harney Road, Tampa, FL 33637 on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 2pm. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held private at Sunset Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 11005 N. Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592. Flowers are welcome!
