Charles Copeland Moyer Sr's Obituary
On September 28, 2024, the world lost a huge Teddy Bear with the Passing of Charles Copeland Moyer Sr. Charles was born on July 29, 1964, in Tampa, FL to his loving parents, Orville Ray Moyer Sr and Joyce Dorothy Moyer.
He is survived by his parents, his sisters, Lisa Diane Valentine and Teresa Ann Moyer, his children Charles Copeland Moyer II, Alicia Nichole Moyer, Martin Ray Moyer, Trevor Lee Moyer, Victor Wyatt Moyer, and Dustin Cole Moyer, and many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charles was a member of the Harney Baptist Church in Tampa. He loved the Lord, and he faithfully worshipped every Sunday. He was a valued member of the congregation and acted as the church groundkeeper.
Charles attended C. Leon King High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1983. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, camping and boating. His love and passion for his friends and family was unmatched and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
Charles had a unique sense of humor with an extremely contagious smile and laugh. He was an ultimate prankster, and he could light up a room with his lighthearted and loving energy. Charles' presence will be greatly missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Upon his earthly resting, Charles was reunited with his brothers, Orville Ray Moyer Jr and Clinton Douglas Moyer, where they, undoubtedly, began "cutting up" immediately.
A memorial service/celebration of life will be held for Charles at the First Baptist Church of Harney located at 8910 N US Highway 301 on October 5, 2024, at 11 AM. All who wish to are cordially invited to attend.
