Charles L. Drake, 92, of Apollo Beach, FL passed away on January 25, 2023.
Charles was born on September 3, 1930, in Atlanta, GA. He was married to Margaret Drake, his wife of 70 years. She passed away on June 20, 2019. Charles is survived by his son: Michael L. (Linda) Drake; daughters: Deborah (Dave) Scott and Anita Collins; grandchildren: Aaron (LeeAnn) Scott; Amanda Connolly; Melinda (Derek) Hovey; Kevin (Kelli) Collins; Thomas Collins; great-grandchildren: Sadie Hovey, Joseph Hovey, Mikayla Scott; Ashton Scott; Cadence Connolly; Kiersten Connolly; Theadora Collins.
Charles enjoyed camping and boating. He also enjoyed doing stained glass projects. He loved gardening and was a master gardener.
Graveside services for Charles will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, FL.
