Charles R. Baker's Obituary
Charles R. Baker, 76, passed away May 20, 2016. He was born September 25, 1939 in Kathleen, Florida to the late Desto and Fearbie (Weeks) Baker.
He was a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area, was a protestant and loved fishing and NASCAR. Charles spent his career as a color shader for automotive finishes.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Joyce; children, Richard Graves, Jr., Donna Carolan and her husband Jeff, Sherri Baker, April Valdez all of Tampa; Shelton Graves, Kenneth Graves and his wife Pamela, David Baker and his wife Stephanie all of Dover, Florida; grandchildren, Joseph, Brandi, Anthony, Robert, Donnita, Samuel, David Jr (DJ), Preston, Zachary and A’aliyah; great grandchildren, Jackson (Jack), Cassidy and Ariel; brothers, Cecil, Ray, Melvin, Roger and Ralph; sister, Opal; in-laws, Linda Cottrill, Larry and Denise Cottrill, Dennis Cottrill and Tony Costa.
There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Funeral service will begin at noon followed by interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Memories and condolences may be left online at www.sunset-fh.com.
