Celemente R Bueno's Obituary
Clemente “Ramon” Bueno, 94, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Ramon was born in Placetas, Cuba and spent his early life educating himself and marrying his childhood sweetheart, Elcira. In 1958, Ramon brought his family from Cuba to Michigan to flee communism and start a new life together. Ramon retired in 1991 after working over 25 years for General Motors in Flint, Michigan. He was able to enjoy his retirement by moving to Florida and vacationing frequently in Europe and the Dominican Republic. He loved nothing more than eating a home cooked meal, watching baseball, playing dominoes and spending time with family and friends. Ramon was a member of the Casa Cuba of Tampa for many years. In the final years of his life, Ramon fought a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia. He is survived by his wife of 70 years Elcira Bueno, Daughter; Elcy (PJ) Crespo, Grandchildren; Michele (Doug) Backes, Anthony (Christina) Bueno, Maria (Scott) Henderson and Carlos (Gina) Crespo, Great-Grandchildren; Benji and Ella Backes, Anabell and Katie Bueno, and Cassandra and Daniel Crespo. He is preceded in death by his parents; Jesus and Marina Bueno, Son; Luis Ramon Bueno, Siblings; Miguel, Manolo and Pancho Bueno.
