Cecil Erskin Campbell Sr.'s Obituary
Cecil Erskin Campbell, Sr. passed away October 12, 2017. He was born April 20, 1940 in Dyersburg, Tennessee to the late Erskin and Mary (Willet) Campbell. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Bill.
Cecil came to the Tampa area back in 1958 from Tennessee. He enjoyed going to flea markets and riding his motorcycle.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Peggy Ann Campbell; sons, Cecil Campbell Jr. and his wife Donna of Apollo Beach; Jimmy Campbell and his wife Linda of Lake Wales; and Earl Barns and his wife Teresa of Gibsonton; and daughter, Cynathia Coomey and her husband Bruce of Wimauma; nephew, Bobby Haines of Kentucky; sisters, Linda Faye Bunn and her husband Elmo of Tampa; and Mary Ouwdia Harris of Land O Lakes; grandchildren, Christina, Dylan, Ciera, JD, Charles, Cody, Michael, Elizabeth and Stephanie; and great grandchildren, Chloe, Christina, Lilly, Bella, Peyton and Violet.
There will be a visitation Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 12 to 1pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa. Funeral will begin at 1pm followed by entombment in Sunset Memory Gardens.
