Carolyn S. Coleman's Obituary
Carolyn S. Coleman, age 80, of Riverview, FL passed away on November 24, 2021, at Pacifica Assisted Living in Ruskin, FL surrounded by her family.
Carolyn was born on September 19, 1941, in Soperton, GA, the daughter of William Sanders and Eunita Moss. Carolyn married Freddie Jerrall Coleman on November 21, 1959. Freddie passed away May 25, 2009. Carolyn is survived by her children: Michelle (Steve) Powell, Mikell (Mischelle) Coleman, Freddie (Samantha) Coleman; 10 grandchildren: Jakobe, Cloe, Freddie III, Alecia, Kaela, Dakota, Mikell II, Alan, Alexandria; 8 great-grandchildren: Anna, Merci, Asher, Paisley, Leigha, Kristen, Payton, Freddie, IV; 2 sisters: Joyce Griffis, Billie Jean Merrill; 2 brothers: Rodney Sanders, Gregg Sanders. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter Makayla; great-grandchild Aniya and brother: Larry Sanders.
Carolyn enjoyed sewing, ceramics, and attending church. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids.
Services to celebrate Carolyn’s life will be at 2:00 PM on Monday (November 29, 2021) at Sunset Funeral Home, Thonotosassa, FL, with visitation being held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Monday at Sunset Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL.
