Carole Jean Brammell's Obituary
Carole Jean Brammell, aged 74 of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Melech Hospice House of Temple Terrace. She was born in Tampa on July 20, 1940, the daughter of the late Charles Biggs and Madeline (Whaley) Biggs.
She was a graduate of Brewster Technical and lifelong Tampa resident. She worked at the courthouse for many years before going to work in the family business and then later worked alongside her late husband, Billy G Brammell at his business. She was a devoted and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother.
Carole was an avid reader, loved gardening, cooking and spending time outdoors. Most of all though, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a caring, thoughtful and selfless person and loved bringing joy to others. She was always the first person to offer help if it was needed, even to strangers.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Billy G. Brammell and two brothers Leland Earl Biggs and Charles Upton Biggs. She is survived by her children, daughter, Tamila Jewel Diaz and son, Vincent Charles Brammell; sister, Jewel Herrli and brother, Frank Biggs and his wife, Fredinell Biggs, sister-in-law, Juanita Biggs, brother-in-law, Joe Freeman, granddaughter, Jessica Nichole Foss, three great-grandchildren Nicholas, Noah and Nova Foss and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 U.S. 301 N., Thonotosassa, Florida. A funeral service will be at 11AM, with interment to follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.
