Carol Ann Watson's Obituary
Carol Ann Watson was born at 9:12 P.M. on July 29,1946 to Albert and Geneva Buck. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, big sister, aunt, and friend. Carols wings were earned years ago and the Angels have taken her home. Carol joined the Lord on July 26, 2019. Carol was admired for her integrity, sense of humor, positivity, and for her beautiful smile. That smile brightened everyone's day and glowed even brighter in the presence of her family, especially her grandchildren, Dessie and Devon. Her children, Scott and Jenny, were loved beyond measure. Carol married the love of her life and best friend, Robert Henry Watson, June 1969 and they recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Carol graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1964. She attended Augustana College 1964-1965 and St. Mary's School of Nursing, receiving her diploma of Nursing in 1969. Carol spent the next 42 years as a caring and compassionate nurse at Bay City General Hospital (Bay Medical Center) 1965-1970, St. Mary's Hospital 1970-1980, Bay Osteopathic Hospital 1980-1985, Ascension 1985-1987, East Michigan Cardiovascular Surgery 1987-1993, Florida Hospital 1993-2012. Carol Happily Retired in 2012. She enjoyed spending her free time taking countless cruises, kayaking, crafting, and traveling with Bob. Carol was very creative and produced beautiful stained glass and personalized cards. She was a night owl and loved the 4th of July, Flip flops, Salmon, Mounds candy bars, double fudge ice cream, purple, and listening to Neil Diamond. Left to treasure Carols memory are her loving husband, Robert Henry Watson of Land Of Lakes, Fl., Her son, Scott (Cindy) Watson of Clayton, Ga., her daughter Jennifer (Kenny) Nylen of Zephyrhills, Fl., her grandchildren, Dessie Watson and Devon Watson, her mother, Geneva Buck of Bay City, Mi.,brothers and sisters; Deborah (Tom) Pietrzak of Bandon,Oregon, Alan Buck of Freesoil, Mi., Michael (Annette) Buck of Fredericksburg, Va., Rebecca Ronan of Gaylord, Mi., Miriam Joyce of Bay City, Mi.,Daniel Buck of Harbor Springs, Mi., Ruth Ann Foerster of Green River, Wy., brother in law, Richard Kullberg, many nieces and nephews, friends, and Carol and Bobs treasured family dog, Jasper. Carol is predeceased by her father Albert M. Buck, father in law, Robert W. Watson, mother in law, Dessie L. Watson, mother in law, Virgi Watson, brothers, Paul S. Buck, David W. Buck, beloved sister, Susan K. Kullberg, and brother in law Patrick Ronan. Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 2 at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. U.S. 301, Thonotosassa, Fl.33592 Visitation from 11-12 P.M. Service from 12-1 P.M. Graveside service 1P.M.
