Carol and I met on computer Bridge, maybe 15 years back. She and i were both doing home daycare and often talked of our children. Believe she was taking care of twins back then...She was so kind as to mail me a video that her daycare enjoyed, She was sure mine would enjoy it also. How thoughtful! I could picture her in her beautiful house that she had sent me pictures of! I will miss my friend on the other end of my occasional emails and our phone chats. She had been through so much sadness and many hardships. Now she is at rest and I feel selfish to be so sad. God grant her peace.

Carol and I grew up almost like sisters. We were double cousins and spent a lot of time together. Because I was the oldest in my family, she was the closest person I had to a "big sister".
So many wonderful experiences when we got together every Sunday and at the picnics in our backyard where the extended families would meet. Then as we grew older, we still touched base at our New Year's Eve parties and watched each others children grow up.
She was the one that told me the truth about Santa Claus! When she married on a Sunday, that was my plan.
I will miss her very much but know she lives in our hearts!
