Carmen A. Rivera Mayoral's Obituary
Carmen A. Rivera Mayoral, 81, passed away February 14, 2016. She was born August 24, 1934 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Cesar A. Rivera-Del Toro; a brother and 3 sisters.
Carmen came to Tampa in 1971 from Staten Island. She was a Catholic and the CEO of the entire Rivera family. Carmen especially loved spending time with her granddaughters and enjoyed shopping and socializing.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Mara Wilhelm and her husband Todd of Tampa; Cesar R. Rivera and his wife Gigi of Tampa; and Martha Rivera Hoffman and her husband Gene of The Villages; brother, Ricardo Mayoral of Puerto Rico; sister, Mercedita Mayoral of Virginia and grandchildren, Savannah and Kiana.
There will be a graveside service Monday, February 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592.
