Nacio en Santa Clara, Cuba el 4 de Noviembre del 1937. Fallecio en Tampa, Florida. El 15 de Mayo del 2022
A Carlos Manuel Sanchez le sobreviven su esposa, Sofia Manzo, sus hijos Juan Carlos Sanchez y Sergio Sanchez, las esposas de sus hijos Gricel Sanchez y Milagro Leal, y sus nietos Breann C Sanchez, Giselle D Sanchez, y Juan M Sanchez.
Carlitos es de la Fe Catolica y su officio tanto en Cuba como en Tampa fue chofer de camion hasta su retiro. Luchador por la Libertad sufrio la persecusion y encarcelamiento del regimen comunista Cubano. En 1994 emigro como refugiado politico a los Estados Unidos junto a su familia estableciendose en Tampa, FL. Rapidamente debido a su dedicacion al trabajo, gano el cariño admiracion y respeto de todas las personas que le rodeaban.
Vivia profundamente agradecido de los Estados Unidos el pais que le permitio ver a su familia crecer y desarrollarse en plena libertad, con mucho orgullo mostraba su condition de ciudadano americano y para demostrarlo era el primero de su familia en ejercer su derecho al voto, a la vez que motivaba al resto de su circulo de influencia a que tambien hicieran contar sus opinions por medio de sus votos.
En su tiempo libre le gustaba compartir con su familia, sobretodo consentir a sus nietos, Incansable jugador de domino y un gran fanatico de los Yankees de Nueva York.

Carlos Manuel Sanchez is survived by his wife, Sofia Manzo, his sons Juan Carlos Sanchez and Sergio Sanchez, the wives of his sons Gricel Sanchez and Milagro Leal, and his grandchildren Breann C Sanchez, Giselle D Sanchez, and Juan M Sanchez.
Carlitos is of the Catholic Faith and his job both in Cuba and in Tampa was a truck driver until his retirement. He fought for freedom and suffered the persecution and imprisonment of the Cuban communist regime. In 1994 he emigrated as a political refugee to the United States with his family. Settling in Tampa, FL. and due to his dedication and work ethics, he gained the affection, admiration, and respect of all who knew him.
He was deeply grateful for the United States, the country that allowed him to see his family grow and prosper, a country of the free, with great pride he became an American citizen and was the first in his family to exercise his right to vote. He encouraged friends and family to become citizens so they too could exercise their right to vote and be heard.
He liked to spend his free time with his family and dear friends. He especially loved spoiling his grandchildren. His love for playing dominos was tireless and he was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. He never tiered of talking baseball.
