Carlos or (Charlie if your from our childhood family), was like a brother growing up. We were only a year apart in age. My grandmother and his mother were sisters. Charlie Sr.(his father) played drums in the Tampa Police Band, and that drumming spread to Charlie, my uncle Bobby, and me. My cousin Charlie used to be a tropical fish enthusiast and then I followed the same, he was in Boy Scouts, and then I followed, he turned me on to music stereos, and then I followed. So he was a role model and I wanted to emulate him. But he truly excelled at whatever he did. He made it to Eagle Scout status, his knowledge of hi-fi stereos was over the top, he was an excellent cook, and on & on. He was cool, very cool. He knew BMW cars and raced them with his love, Penny. He was the best man at my wedding. A few years ago, he came to my 60th bday bash, where he played bongo drums along with I and another friend. It was a great time and I'm so happy that my nephew recorded video of us playing to have forever. But most of all, his love for Penny, was precious and is still precious from heaven. 2 peas in a pod. Inseparable. Never to be forgotten. God bless you brother as you watch over Penny and all of us from heaven. My deepest sympathies to Penny. May God give you the mental strength during this time. We all love you both.
