Bruce Franklin Leverett's Obituary
“Bruce Franklin Leverett, 64, passed away September 30, 2017. He was born October 1, 1952 in Tampa, Florida to the late Leland and Gertrude (Davis) Leverett. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl Ruth; stepdad, Gene Mahon; sister, Gail; and his dear uncle, Jerald.
Bruce was a Baptist and a lifelong resident of Tampa. He was an avid member and fan of the NRA. He loved fishing in Lake Kissimmee and was a devoted family man.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 26 years, Linda; sons, Jason Leverett and his wife Sherri of Riverview; and Bryan Leverett of Lakeland; daughter, Julie Gamache and her husband Shamas of Oregon; sisters, Lynn Bayne and her husband Rick of Riverview; and Barbara Reffuse of Zephyrhills; brothers, Roger Leverett and his wife Emily of Riverview; and Keith Leverett of Lakeland; grandchildren, Preston, Cydney, Mavrick, Taylor, Brynn, Jas, Jax, Reef, Kai, Finnigan and Syrina.
There will be a memorial service Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Thonotosassa. Following the service, please join us at Edward Medard Park for a BBQ to celebrate dads life. Shelter #5 by the playground; time 3pm-6pm.
