Brooksie Maortua's Obituary
MAORTUA, Brooksie, 66, of Tampa, passed away April 25, 2016. She was a loving wife, mama, Mima, sister and friend. Brooksie retired from the F.B.I. after 40 years of dedicated employment. She is survived by Jose, her devoted husband of 38 years; daughters Kristina Maortua, Heather Jorgensen (A.J.), and Alicia Eusebio (Arturo); granddaughters Sophia and Ella Jorgensen; siblings Frances Benitez, Joseph Perry, and Merci Boutell (Bill); nephew Richard Benitez; nieces Mollie Boutell, Melonny Thompson, and Stephanie Boutell; and extended family and friends. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday April 29, 2016 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 5225 N. Himes Ave, Tampa, 33614 where she was a faithful parishioner.
