Blaine B Gladson's Obituary
Blaine B Gladson, 91, of Land O Lakes, Florida, entered into the arms of his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. Blaine was born May 30, 1923 in Knoxville, Tennessee. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. Upon returning to the United States he graduated from Knoxville College. He worked for Cummins Diesel as the Comptroller for 31 years and was transferred to Tampa in in 1960. He and his wife moved to Lake Padgett Estates in Land O’ Lakes in 1972. He was one of the founding members of Myrtle Lake Baptist Church served on many committees and taught Sunday School. He most recently attended Heritage Church.
He enjoyed his small but loving family.
He is predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Maryles Gladson. He is survived by his son Eddie Gladson, daughter-in-law Joyce, two grandchildren Becky Kip (Steve) and Robert Gladson (Jennifer) and his pride and joys, five great-grandchildren, Phillip, Brittany, Brianna, Amanda and Kendall.
Services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 US Highway 301 N, Thonotosassa, FL on Saturday Feb 7th. Visitation at 10am, Services at 11am and burial immediately following in Sunset Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Blaine's honor be made to the Pasco-Hernando Hospice.
