She enjoyed sharing and conversing with others about the Bible when given the opportunity. Overall, Betty was generally in good health with the exception of triple negative breast cancer that was diagnosed in 2017. In 2023 Betty was not feeling well and went to see the doctor. This is where she learned that the breast cancer had returned and metastasized. She put up a good fight. However, the breast cancer was more than her body could handle. During her final weeks she expressed how much she loved her family. She spent her time praying, reading the word of God, and spending time with family. Family was always important to her, as she was to them. Betty will be greatly missed. We will forever keep her in our hearts. We feel fortunate that over the years we were able to discover new adventures and create everlasting memories. In keeping with Betty’s wishes, there will not be a service. Her request is to be cremated and scattered in the ocean. For you, she requests that each of you take a moment to reflect and remember the memories that you have made with her. To not be sad because it is her time to be with Jesus and take her place in heaven. Her final message to everyone is that she loves each and every one of you and that she looks forward to seeing her friends and family someday when they join her in Heaven.
