Betty Jean Music's Obituary
Betty Jean Music, 94, of Tampa passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026. She was born on February 17, 1932, in Portland, TN to Pate and Oma Deckard.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leroy Music, her brother Lillard Deckard and her sister Irene Goodson.
She is survived by her sons LeeRoy Music and Randy (Brenda) Music, her sister Erline McLendon, her granddaughters Wendy Music, Cindy Music and Krista (Rick) Bush, and great-granddaughter Kayla (Connor) Mortus and great-great-granddaughter Ella.
Betty enjoyed shopping, fishing, NASCAR, gardening, and spending time with her family.
A service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Pastor Raymond James will officiate the service.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Polk, Colin Kelley, Mark Sills, John Fulton, Laverne Patrick, and Sammy Humphries.
