Bernadette Denis Hoffmann's Obituary
Bernadette Denis Hoffmann, 93, of Tampa, FL., passed away on June 30, 2019. Born April 26, 1926 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Damier Denis and Emma Mirault.
She was a member for many years of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Land O’ Lakes, FL.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Faustin, Rejane Faustin-Morin son-in-laws, Prochet Duchard and Keith Morin; her sibling, Marcelle Denis-Nader; her 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, extended family, and close friends. Bernadette was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernst Hoffmann, and her siblings, Joseph Denis, Etheart Denis, Eugenie Denis, Raphael Denis, Stephanie Denis-Maurice, Dr. Camille Denis and nephews Georges A. Maurice, Leslie Denis.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 2348 Collier Parkway, Land O’ Lakes, FL 34639 on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:30am. There will be a visitation held at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 6-8pm. Memorial Donations can be made in Bernadette’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
