Aurelio Hernandez's Obituary
A man of few words but when he spoke the room stopped to listen. With his classic fedora and cane he greeted you with a smile and a joke to make you laugh. For him it was the simple things in life that mattered with God at the center and his family circling around. He loved the water, tinkering around with things that tink and always making people laugh. As a young man he sailed the blue seas and became enamored with them. God decided to call him home to once again reunite with his beloved wife Lola. They both watch over all of us now.
He is survived by his wonderful daughter-in-law, Lucy, who was central to him during his final years. His three children: Cecilia, Alfredo and Nelson. His ten grandchildren: Mary, Rosendo, Eduardo, Ivanka, Victor, Marielin, Ircania, Erika, Yesenia, Elliot and eleven great-grandchildren: Aaliyah, Kingdell, Ariel, Anya, Cy, Grayson, Annika, Luella, Jadler, Eva and Cruz. A nephew, Teodoro, as well as extended family and friends in Florida, New York and Dominican Republic.
We are not saying goodbye but merely so long for now with a forever love and remembrance.
