Aubrey, you are a wonderful person whom I never met; but felt I got to know you through the words written in your book NATURAL ORGANIC HAIR AND SKIN CAREThank you for being so incredibly honest and transparent, your AWESOME!
I knew Aubrey through his incomparable natural skin care products of a quality I have found nowhere else since I discovered them many years ago. He educated and shared his spirit through writing about his life and work in a most positive and uplifting way which I will fondly remember.
I was sad to learn about Aubrey's passing. I met him many years ago at Expo West and have been a huge fan of his products since then. He was a pioneer in the natural products industry and I am grateful that I was able to meet him.
I will fondly remember Aubrey as the 'Father of Natural Cosmetics'. I am currently aspiring to formulate a hair product myself. Aubrey's passion for natural ingredients has been my inspiration and driving force. I had hoped to meet him personally and collaborate with him one day. His presence in the natural cosmetics world will be sorely missed!
Thank you for your huge contributions to the natural cosmetics and bodycare industry. You were a gifted teacher and a tireless advocate for all things safe and natural. You have inspired me and many others!
Behind Aubrey's every endeavor -- be it the Gorilla Theatre, Aubrey Organics, or just pursuing life with gusto and great style -- was a brilliant man with a huge heart, a mischievous sparkle in his eye, and always a fascinating tale to tell. Here's hoping he had even a vague notion of how much he was loved by so many, and how profoundly he is missed.
Sometimes we argued, usually we laughed, especially when I did take-offs on your curtain speeches during the Chekov production. I'll miss both. You were definitely one of a kind Aubrey. Thanks for many memories.
The theatre community has lost one of its own. Aubrey, we shall miss your unique perspective on the world, your candor and wit, and that warped sense of humor! Perhaps most of all, we will miss you and your devotion to creating new and different theatre in Tampa Bay. 'Good-night, sweet prince; and flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.' Hamlet [V,ii]
Thank you for making Tampa a much more interesting place to live. You and Susan were very unique, dedicated and passionate people and your contribution to the arts inspired many and will live on forever.
Thank you so much for having such a positive influence on our family through the Gorilla Theatre and the YDP 2006 - 2007 - 2008. God Bless you, The Ford Family
