Annemarie Laure Paul's Obituary
Beloved Manmie, Grandmanmie, Tante, and surrogate mother to everyone she encountered. On February 26, 2022, Annemarie Laure Paul went to be with God, joining her beloved husband, Jean Paulin Paul who preceded her in death in 1987. Born in Mirebalais, Haiti in 1931, the youngest of 10 siblings, Laure Paul was the proud mother of 3 children.
Manmie Laure loved life and had a great love for people. She had an amazing influence on everyone she met, and always had a positive word to share. She was a great storyteller.
Laure was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her beloved husband. She is survived by her 3 sons and their wives, Jean Claudel & Deby Paul, Ferry & Yveline Paul, Maxime & Danielle Paul, 6 grandchildren, Stacey (Ilda), Rachelle (Will), Jeffrey, Christian, Philippe, Gabrielle, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews to whom she represented a mother-figure, and countless people whose lives she touched in her own special way.
Manmie Laure leaves a big void and will be remembered by all. She will always remain in
our hearts and be missed every day until we meet again. Services will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens on Saturday, March 12th at 1:30 for the Visitation and 2:30 for the Service followed by a light meal.
