Annelies Pitz's Obituary
Annelies Pitz, of Wesley Chapel, FL, passed away June 3, 2024, in Tampa. She was born in Bresslau, Germany to Paul and Elfriede Ratay. She loved her faith, family and friends immensely. She especially loved her new life as a Florida girl, after she moved from Westchester, IL, to Wesley Chapel, FL in 2020. She always had a smile on her face, tremendous love in her heart, and a bottle of red wine ready to share.
Annelies was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Harald Pitz; and her daughter, Michelle Philbin.
She is survived by her son, Marcel (Tracy) Pitz of Wesley Chapel, brother, Siegfried (Ilse) Ratay, of Ingolstadt, Germany; son-in-law, Robert (Julie) Philbin of Tampa, who is dearly loved by Annelies' family; grandchildren, Francesca Pitz of Wesley Chapel, Shannon (Nate) Philbin Underwood, of Orlando, FL; Brendan (Gracie) Philbin of Jacksonville, FL, and Ryan Philbin of Wesley Chapel.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, 10am, at Family of Christ Lutheran Church, 16190 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647.
