Alpha L. Smith's Obituary
Alpha Lendell Smith, 98 of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. Born July 4, 1920 in Houston, Mississippi. The oldest son of the late Hulon F. Smith and Cora (Carney) Smith.
Survivors include his loving children Helen L. Zarou, Orlando, FL., Rev. Howard L. (Vonda) Smith, Barcelona, Spain and Bruce A. Smith, New Port Richie, FL. His brother Edward (Rosella) Smith; as well as his eight grand children and eight great grand children. Alpha was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years Mollie (Esses) Smith (1996), daughter, Barbara J. Smith (2005) and two siblings, Lowell Smith and Geraldine Smith.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Saturday evening, June 22, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Graveside service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Memory Gardens, 11005 N. Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL. 33592 on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Military Honors.
