Alice "Mickey" Cook's Obituary
Alice “Mickey” Cook, 74, passed away April 11, 2017. She was born November 29, 1942 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Cecil and Inez (Westervelt) Case. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Harold “Chuck” Case, Lil Ellington, Evelyn “Sis” Jarvis, Jim Case and Dort Waters.
Mickey came to the Tampa area in 1970 from Oneida, Tennessee. She was a member of the International Independent Showman’s Association. She and her husband spent 58 wonderful years in the carnival business while raising their family. She also enjoyed going to casinos and Facebook.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 57 years, Jim; daughters, Susie Perry and Tabitha Sears and her husband Jerry, all of Gibsonton; grandchildren, Katie, AJ, Gage, Chad, Chance and his wife Hailey; great grandchildren, Chandler and Cooper.
There will be a visitation on Friday, April 14, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home, 11005 N. US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, Florida 33592. Graveside service will begin at 3:00 PM.
