In Memory of Albert Riusech
Albert Riusech was a true gentleman, linguist, international citizen, beloved professor, and devoted friend. Cuban born and American bred, Albert shared his love of his culture and his gift of languages with his students, colleagues, and friends. He was a highly esteemed professor of modern languages at Texarkana College for 38 years. During that time, he introduced students to study abroad programs and traveled the world. He served as TC Faculty Association president and treasurer and volunteered his time in the community as a translator and interpreter. His quick wit and mischievous pranks entertained his friends and colleagues and kept them on their toes. He was known for his giving spirit, always lending a helping hand to those in need. Albert will forever be remembered as a dear friend, a true gentleman.
