Quesada, Aida's Obituary
Aida Lopez Quesada passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in Tampa, Florida, following a brief illness. She was a loving mother, talented artist, dedicated professional, and a cherished friend to many. She lived her entire life in the Tampa Bay area, where she built a beautiful life and legacy.
Aida served as the dedicated bookkeeper and office manager for the family business, Bilt-Rite Batteries, and later for her husband’s subsequent venture, Joe’s Auto Electric, until her retirement. Beyond her professional life, she was a woman of remarkable creative talent. She was an accomplished pianist and artist throughout her long life, filling her home and the lives of those she loved with music and beauty. Aida and her beloved husband, Joe, were passionate about travel, often taking their children on extensive adventures throughout the United States, creating a lifetime of cherished memories.
She was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart and devoted husband, Joe.
Aida is survived by her loving children: Denise L Maseda, Debra L Quesada, and Patrick Ryan Quesada, along with son-in-law Joe Maseda, and daughter-in-law Carole Vittone, and grandchildren Adam Hill, Jared Spaw, Kayla Spaw, Nicholas Skipper, and Michael Skipper.
She leaves behind many other close relatives, including her dear cousin Joyce Gorski, as well as countless friends throughout the Tampa Bay area and across the United States, all of whom will deeply miss her warmth and presence.
A memorial service and celebration of Aida's life will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, commencing at 12:00 PM, at Sunset Memory Gardens, 11005 N US Highway 301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592.
