Abundio Felicitas Amper Jr's Obituary
Abundio "Jun" was born in Ubay, Bohol, Philippines to Abundio Amper and Valeria Escobia Felicitas on January 30, 1941. He returned home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2024. In his final days, he was surrounded by family and friends.
Jun was the youngest of five children, the only son. He lived his life to the fullest. He was the life of the party, guaranteed a good time whenever he was around. He also had a deep commitment to his religious faith. He never met a stranger, welcoming everyone with open arms. He had a heart of gold and was very generous. Every year on his birthday, he sent money to feed the poor in his hometown.
Jun married Fortunata “Inday” Gule at Sacred Heart in Cebu City, Philippines on June 17, 1972. He was well known by many as a devout Roman Catholic - member of Our Lady of the Rosary Church and Couples for Christ.
Jun graduated from the University of Bohol (formerly known as Rafael Palma College) with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. He worked as an educator in the Philippines. After moving to the United States, he worked in the hotel restaurant business.
Jun is preceded in death by his siblings Nanie Langamin; Tresing Marigomen and spouse Johnny Marigomen; Esther Gianan and spouse Roger Gianan; brother-in-law Dodo Miel; and his grandchild, Marc.
Jun is survived by his wife, Inday and two children, son Alex and his wife Joy and daughter, Aline; by his grandchildren, Noah and Micah; by his sister Noring Miel; by his brother-in-law Boy Langamin; by his numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and relatives.
We request the color aquamarine be worn at the funeral service.
Visitation hours will be held at the Trinity Funeral Home; 12609 Memorial Drive, Trinity, FL 33465 on August 16, 2024, from 6- 8pm. Catholic Mass for Burial at Our Lady of the Rosay; 2348 Collier Pkwy
Land O' Lakes, FL 34639 on August 17, 2024, at 1030 am. Committal service will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Alex Amper, Noah Amper, Robert Consuegra, John Consuegra, David Consuegra, and Edwin Latras.
In lieu of flowers, we would like to continue with Jun’s legacy of giving to the poor on his birthday by monetary donations.
