Tory D. Gilmore
August 16, 1961 - August 10, 2019
On the morning of Saturday, August 10, 2019 surrounded by his family at home the Father reached down and took Tory’s hand. Tory Derrick Gilmore, 57, went home to be with his Lord and Savior. Tory was the son of Keith and Ivonne Dean. Tory was a strong, determined, good man that cherished and loved his family greatly. He loved his friends, riding his bike, skydiving, country and gospel music, dancing, and socializing every chance he could get. He was a man that took great pride in his work as a lineman. It made him very happy and proud. Tory’s sense of humor would light up any room along with his smile and his contagious laugh. Tory loved his Pastor and his work crew were very dear to his heart. Time spent with his family was very important to him. Tory joins in heaven his wife, Tracey; his mother, Yvonne; his grandmother, Edna and Vera; his grandfather, Kenneth; and his nephews, Joshua, Daniel and Joseph. He is survived by his father, Keith; his daughters, Nicole and Jade; his sisters, Theresa, Tonia, Jerrie, Karen, Kimberly, Hope, Robin and Jennifer; his brothers, Keith, Eric; his five brother -in-laws; many nieces and nephews; cousins; his three grandsons and a son-in-law. We cherish the time we all had with him on earth and know we will all be in Heaven with him one day again, for Goodbye is only for those who love with their eyes. We love with our heart and souls and to us there is no such thing as separation. (Philippians 3:20-21 and Revelation 21: 3-4) Funeral Service will be held at Tabernacle of Praise, 9505 East Fowler Avenue, Thonotosassa, FL 33592 on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 2pm.
