Mona Saint Juste
June 8, 1960 - February 9, 2022
On Wednesday February 9, 2022, our beloved Mother, Wife, Sister, Aunt, Grandma, and dear friend Mona SaintJuste got her wings and went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. Mona SaintJuste was born on June 8, 1960, in Plaisance, Haiti to Horacius Belony (Father) and Margaret Joseph Belony (Mother). She had a lovely childhood, and she was a bright, smart and beautiful young lady. After graduating high school in Haiti, she had dreams and aspirations of traveling and starting her own business. She embarked upon her entrepreneurial journey of traveling to nearby islands and soon after opened her own boutique where she sold one of a kind beautiful dresses and accessories. In the late 1980’s she moved to Miami, Florida where she met her husband, Roger SaintJuste in church. The two young lovebirds decided to move to the up-and-coming city of Tampa, Fl and start their lives together. She obtained her Nursing Assistant degree shortly after and worked in healthcare for several decades, taking wonderful care of a vulnerable population. She maintained her entrepreneurial mindset and decided to delve into real estate. Through tenacity, perseverance, and sheer hard work, she and her husband became quite successful and amassed a thriving real estate portfolio. Despite these worldly possessions she remained humble and tithed frequently, giving thanks to her Lord and Savior. Throughout these ventures she maintained her faith in God and kept Christ first. She loved going to church and singing in the Women’s Choir. She was a praying woman and believed she could do all things through Christ who strengthens her. Her greatest accomplishments was raising her four beautiful children, her eldest Sabine Provence, Twins Rodlain and Maudeline SaintJuste, and youngest Gregory SaintJuste. She recently became a grandma two months ago and it was her pleasure to meet her precious granddaughter, Sadiya Alie Jemeison. She encouraged her children to get an education and go to college, work hard, and be diligent in their endeavors. “Well Mom, we did and we thank you for instilling in us these core values and principles.” She was her children’s biggest cheerleader. Mona was a very gregarious and friendly person and she loved meeting new people. She had a zest for life and an effervescent personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Mona SaintJuste leaves to cherish her long lasting memories and is survived by: Roger SaintJuste (husband), Sabine Province (daughter), Twins Rodlain SaintJuste (son) and Maudeline SaintJuste (daughter), Gregory SaintJuste (son).
